Lessons Policies
**Lesson Cancellation Policies**
To qualify for a make-up lesson (see definition below), cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. This includes leaving a message on the answering machine or sending an email (exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis). Failing to show up or notify the teacher within 24 hours will result in a forfeited lesson.
If you are aware of any dates in advance when you or your child will be unable to attend a lesson, please inform the school when making your booking or payment. Should you wish to discontinue lessons entirely, kindly provide your teacher with prior notice.
Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice will be eligible for a make-up session at a time that works for both the teacher and the student. Generally, these make-up lessons are arranged for a different time or day within the same week. In certain situations, the make-up lesson may be scheduled immediately before or after the original lesson time, allowing the student to benefit from a full hour.
Payments
Payments can be submitted through Zelle, Venmo, or by check. Receipts and email reminders will be provided to inform you of upcoming due dates for fees. All lesson fees must be settled prior to your first lesson. If you choose to continue with your lessons, payments for the subsequent month’s lessons will be expected by the 1st of that month. Please note that if payment is not received prior to your first lesson of the month, your scheduled lesson time may be made available to other students.
